Joy Dowdy: Mrs. Joy Dowdy graduated from University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. She holds a Bible Certificate from Colorado Christian University, and is currently working on a Masterís of Education in curriculum and instruction from Colorado Christian. She taught math for Loveland Christian High School for eight years.
For the 2010-2011 school year Joy will be offering Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Advanced Math.

Dianne Judge: Mrs. Dianne Judge has been in the education field for thirty-five years. She holds a B.S. in secondary Education from Montana State University and a M.A. in Theology with Emphasis in Christian Philosophy and Apologetics from Trinity College and Seminary. Her wide range of teaching experience includes; language arts, drama, history, social science, geography, physical science, Bible and logic.
During the 2010-2011 school year Mrs. Judge is offering Introductory and Intermediate Logic, Understanding the Times, SAT Prep Writing, Literary Analysis, American Literature, Movies as Literature, 9th grade Geography and 9th grade Elements of Literature and Writing.

Donna Lovell: Mrs. Donna Lovell graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE, with a BS in Education. She has taught 14 years in Christian elementary schools in addition to teaching core subjects for twelve years in a small private school to Jr High and High School students. Mrs. Lovell has started two private Christian schools that catered to both public and home-schooled students, and appreciates the plight of the home-schooled family, having home-schooled two of her own children.
She has also attended many educational seminars, conferences, and classes to enhance her instructional training.
Donna will be handling many of the Jr. High Classes other than those math classes being taught by Mrs. Dowdy.

Rachel Guyer: Mrs. Rachel Guyer graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Secondary Education, majoring in English and History. She has taught a range of literature, writing-intensive, history, geography, and honors classes in Tucson, and is greatly looking forward to sharing interesting and challenging discussions, readings, and projects with her students at Living Word Academy!
During the 2010-2011 school year Mrs. Guyer will be offering 20th Century American History, British Literature, Understanding Shakespeare, the History in the Steps of Jesus, in addition to any other history, English or literature requirements of the students.
